Rob Reiner: Millions of Americans Supporting Trump Because They Are Racist

GEIST: “Let me ask you, how do you explain — as much as we like to think the entire country watches the show every morning —“ [crosstalk] 
REINER: “Well we dictate how people vote. A lot of people do watch the show but it’s kind of a news show of record for —“ [crosstalk] 
GEIST: “It is. That is true. But how do you explain the millions and millions of people who do not watch this show and actually like what they hear from Donald Trump and aren’t taking messages and orders from us and the media, but they listen to what he says for themselves and vote for him. How do you explain that?” 
REINER: “There are a lot of people who are racist.”
