Hoyer: 70 Percent of Americans Agree With the Democrats on Every Single Issue

"Just  a brief comment because I think the worry about brick walls is on the other side of the aisle. And the reason I say that is because we talk about ladders of opportunity, that's a latter to the majority as well because 70 percent, 65 percent, 60 percent of the American people agrees with us on almost every one, if not every one of the issues we've been discussing. If you're on the other side you see them as brick walls because they are walls to the retention of a majority. I was just kidding Steve Israel, we've seen -- apparently two chairmen have decided to retire. My presumption is they don't believe they're going to keep the majority."
