W.H.: Obama’s Done More than Any Other President to Expand Access to the Mental Healthcare

‘This was of course included in ObamaCare’

EARNEST: "The president has actually done more than any other president to expand access to mental health care across the country. This was of course included in ObamaCare. The president made a mental health care a priority by ensuring parity between the medial care people have access to, but also mental health care as well. There also was an extensive funding that was included in the Affordable Care Act for community health centers that often are a facility that can provide mental health care services. Of course, the Affordable Care Act also expanded Medicaid coverage which meant more people had access to the kind of health care including mental health care that they need. So this administration has certainly been at the forefront of trying to expand access to quality mental health care to people all across this country."
