Heilemann: Cruz-Kasich Alliance ‘Has a Slap-Dash Feel to It’

HEILEMANN: "The motivating factor in this alliance is Ted Cruz realizing if they didn't get Kasich to stop campaigning in Indiana, he would beat in Indiana. It's going to be close there. Crews essentially said to the Kasich people, if we lose Indiana, we're doomed. Please stop campaigning. Now, you've seen yesterday already Kasich saying I'm not telling my voters not to vote for Indiana. That's not that big of a deal. And so the whole thing a bit of a slap-dash feel to it."
