Clinton: NYDN Interview Shows Sanders Doesn’t Have Answers to Hard Questions

‘There have been questions raised about the numbers not adding up for his college plan or his health care plan and those are legitimate questions that people have to be able to ask and answer’

CLINTON: "There have been questions raised about the numbers not adding up for his college plan or his health care plan and those are legitimate questions that people have to be able to ask and answer. Again I would just refer to 'The New York Daily News' interview which was a very long interview and certainly in New York people read it very carefully and it demonstrated that there weren’t a lot of answers to some of the hard questions that were asked on both domestic and foreign policy, but you’ll have a chance to ask him about that. I think my goal is to keep talking about what I believe will work and I have said I will not raise taxes on middle class families because too many Americans haven’t even yet recovered from the Great Recession and I think we can do what we need to do without having to even look at that. Instead we ought to be looking at making the wealthy pay their share of supporting our country."
