A new Ted Cruz ad hits GOP front-runner Donald Trump for supporting Democratic New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
The ad features sound bites of the White House hopeful praising de Blasio while headlines highlighting crime in New York City flash by in the background.
“I think he’s a smart guy that knows what’s going on, and I think he’s not going to want to destroy New York,” Trump says of de Blasio. “He’ll end up being a good mayor. Maybe a very good mayor. I think he’s going to want to make New York great.”
