DNC Chair: Speaker Ryan ‘Doesn’t Want to Step in Front of an Oncoming Speeding Train’

‘He doesn’t want to step in front of the train wreck occurring in the presidential campaign’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: "Well, I’m not surprised that Paul Ryan — not at all surprising that Paul Ryan doesn’t want to step in front of an oncoming speeding train. He’s already had to be the savior of the Republican party when he had to be recruited as a reluctant candidate to become their speaker because he’s got massive chaos in the Republican caucus and the house. They have been at a civil war with one another for a long time and we have gotten almost nothing accomplished because of their divisiveness and not surprise he doesn’t want to step in front of the train wreck occurring in the presidential campaign, as well."
