Fmr. Reagan W.H. Political Director: Trump Will Probably Have a Plurality Not the Majority of Delegates

‘All the candidates have a right to go to Cleveland and try to get that number of delegates’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:
DONATELLI: "Well, let's understand something. From the time of the Republican party, which does predate Donald Trump, you get the nomination by having a majority of the delegates. He doesn't have a majority of the delegates. No one has a majority of the delegates. So everyone, all the candidates have a right to go to Cleveland and try to get that number of delegates. Trump will probably have a plurality but that does not give him a majority. What the trailing candidate wants to do in a contested convention is try to force procedural and ideological votes so that there is not a predisposition to vote for the front-runner."
