The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Reince Priebus, admitted in an interview today the 2016 could possibly be someone who is not currently running.

Although he said he doubts it will happen, Priebus says the rules for the 2016 convention have yet to be set. So it's still possible to change the rules to bring in a last-minute candidate.

"The rules committee for the 2016 convention will decide what that rule is," Priebus told CNN's Dana Bash. "The delegates that get elected in each of these states make the decisions for what the rules for the 2016 convention will say. And I’m not saying anything nefarious. This is just the way it is."
