Clinton on Trump: ‘I’m Ready to Take Him On’

‘It is important that we really do focus on the very dangerous path that Donald Trump has laid out here’

[excerpt]

CLINTON: "Well, were we stand right now is, as of now, obviously we get the results tonight. I've got more votes than anybody, including Donald Trump, about 600,000 more. And I think I am ready to take him on if he is in that position. Obviously, I will continue to build the number of delegates to support me. And I absolutely respect Senator Sanders. He has a right to run his campaign in any way he chooses, and I am proud of the campaign that he and I had run because we are actually focused on the issues. That's what it has been about, not about insults ... I am going to keep working as much as I can. I think it is important that we focus on the very dangerous path that Donald Trump has lad out here. The kind of bluster and bigotry and bullying that he is exemplifying on the campaign trail is disturbing to I think the majority of Americans ... I feel good.I think that you kind of just have to keep working all day on election day and remind people how important it is to vote."
