Rubio: On Passing a Law in ‘Washington to Change the Weather, There’s No Such Thing’

‘I think the fundamental question for a policy making is — is the climate changing because of certainly we are doing and if so, is there a law you can pass to fix it?’

RUBIO: "Sure the climate is changing and one of the reasons is because the climate has always been changing. I think the fundamental question for a policy making is is the climate changing because of certainly we are doing and if so, is there a law you can pass to fix it? Flooding in Florida is caused by two things -- one -- South Florida was largely built on land that was largely a swamp. I have long supported mitigation efforts. But as far as a law that we can pass in Washington to change the weather, there's no such thing."
