‘You went to 100 doctors and 99 of them said you had a disease, at a certain point, you would say, I have got to do something about this’

"Number one, climate change is real. The science is clear. We can debate how we approach the problem, but we cannot debate the science. I just have to be very clear about that. At least the analogy that I have used is that if you went to a doctor and he said, you have got a disease and you said, you want a second opinion. And the second doctor said you have a disease. You went to 100 doctors and 99 of them said you had a disease, at a certain point, you would say, I have got to do something about this. That essentially is the situation with respect to climate change. 99 percent of scientists are saying this is a really serious problem. Not a sort of kind of may be off, a distant future problem. This is a problem that is going to get worse in the lifetime of our children and our grandchildren and there is such a thing as being too late on this..."
