Obama on Global Warming: ‘We Cannot Debate the Science’
"Number one, climate change is real. The science is clear. We can debate how we approach the problem, but we cannot debate the science. I just have to be very clear about that. You went to 100 doctors and 99 of them said you had a disease, at a certain point, you would say, I have got to do something about this. That essentially is the situation with respect to climate change. 99 percent of scientists are saying this is a really serious problem. Not a sort of kind of may be off, a distant future problem. This is a problem that is going to get worse in the lifetime of our children and our grandchildren and there is such a thing as being too late on this..."
