Boehner: Let’s Work Together to Build the Keystone Pipeline (Washington Free Beacon)

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R., Ohio) made a statement Tuesday urging the president and the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate to work with House Republicans on building the Keystone Pipeline and finding common ground on House-passed jobs bills.

The Keystone Pipeline is widely viewed as an opportunity to create thousands of jobs and bring about greater U.S. energy independence, but President Obama has stonewalled on the initiative, despite a crumbling environmentalist case against its construction.
