CBS’ Garrett: ‘Two Polls in 24 Hours Show Genuine Movement’ for Marco Rubio

‘It was only four days to go before the New Hampshire primary, pressure is mounting and cracks in temperament are forming’

MASON: “Most of the Republican candidates will debate tomorrow night in New Hampshire. A new poll out this morning shows Donald Trump still leads the field there with 30 percent, but Marco Rubio has jumped in the second place with 17 percent. Ted Cruz is 3rd followed by John Kasich and Jeb Bush. Major Garrett is at Rubio’s campaign office in Manchester, New Hampshire. Major, good morning.”
GARRETT: “Good morning. Two polls in 24 hours show genuine movement for only one Republican. Marco Rubio up 7 in one survey, 6 in another. And judging by all the attacks Rubio has faced since arriving here from Iowa — you know, other Republicans believe Rubio is rising. Everyone else is either standing still or losing ground. And with only four days to go before the New Hampshire primary, pressure is mounting and cracks in temperament are forming.”
