Weekly Standard’s Warren: Trump Has Lost Now; Means He Can Be Beaten Again

‘I think the most important thing about Ted Cruz winning maybe was the fact that Donald Trump lost’

BRZEZINSKI: "Weekly Standard's Michael Warren. Michael, good to have you here."
WARREN: "Thanks for having me."
SCARBOROUGH: “So Michael, you were obviously out in Iowa. Talk about the importance of Ted Cruz winning that. It was sort of a make or break for the Cruz campaign. They — they over — they over performed. Should we expect that in contests moving forward as well?”
WARREN: “I don’t know. I think the most important thing about Ted Cruz winning maybe was the fact that Donald Trump lost. That’s a big part, I think, of sort of tearing down the idea that Donald Trump was just going to march to the nomination here. Now it’s actually going to be a long fight. So I think what we’re going to see now  is maybe a two-man, maybe a three-man race. Donald Trump could still win New Hampshire. I think he’s best positioned to do that. But I also think that winning New Hampshire doesn’t guarantee him the nomination. Now, he’s lost once before, it means he could be beaten again. I’m interested to see who comes in second. Does Marco Rubio ride that momentum wave and get a big boost.”
