EARNEST: "The president is certainly looking forward to his trip to the Islamic Society of Baltimore. It will be an opportunity for the president to celebrate the contributions that Muslim-Americans have made to our nation, but to also reaffirm the importance that religious freedom has to our way of life. There obviously has been some discussion about this in the context of the political debate in the country. This is--president's visit I think is an important moment to acknowledge those two things. I think it's also worth nothing the context in which all of this occurs. President last week had an opportunity to visit Israel embassy .... And of course this week president will speak at the national prayer breakfast. So I think this sort of fits into constellation of events that the president is doing to talk about religious liberty and to talk about the role faith plays in our public debate. I think it also would be an opportunity for the president to talk about the role the faith plays..."
