Lindsey Graham Slams Rubio: ‘He Has Now Turned Hard Right’

‘In the last debate he sounded more like Cruz on immigration, that’s disappointing because that will come back to bite us as a party’

BARNICLE: “So in real-time today in New Hampshire, what would be a good outcome for your candidate, Jeb Bush, in New Hampshire?”
GRAHAM: “To win his lane. Marco did well in Iowa. I like Marco, but he has now turned hard right. He has abandoned the bill he worked with on me, in the last debate he sounded more like Cruz on immigration. That’s very disappointing because that will come back to bite us as a party. And Marco has no exceptions for rape and incest. I may be wrong and I hope I’m wrong but I think it’s going to be hard to grow the party among women if you tell women, if you get raped if you have to carry the child of the rapist. Most pro-life people don’t go there. That’s not going to sell in New Hampshire. The thing I like about Jeb, he’s steady and has a backbone and is not giving all this demagoguery on immigration and I think over time that will matter in New Hampshire.”
WALLACE: “Senator, I agree with you and I hope you’re right.”
