‘We believe in a five borough approach’

De Blasio Takes on Critics of Snow Removal Efforts: ‘No One Was Treated Differently’ (Mediaite)

New Yorkers on the Upper East Side have been voicing their displeasure with Mayor Bill de Blasio for not cleaning up snow in their area, with one resident going so far as to say he’s “trying to get us back.” De Blasio responded to the criticism at a press conference today, vehemently denying anyone is being treated different throughout the clean-up efforts.

De Blasio said it’s been “challenging” to take care of the clean-up, but assured people that they’ve been “out in force” doing their best. He touted how all of the city’s “primary streets” were plowed by this morning and addressed the criticism from people on the Upper East Side.
