Fox’s Bob Beckel Trashes Glenn Beck: ‘No Wonder the Son-of-a-Bitch Is Off the TV!’ (Mediaite)

Bob Beckel is clearly not a big fan of his former Fox colleague Glenn Beck. After watching a clip of Beck comparing New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to the late Alabama Governor George Wallace on last night’s Kelly File, Beckel went off on TheBlaze host, calling him “foolish, ridiculous and disgraceful.”

Beck’s comments came in response to Cuomo’s suggestion that “extreme conservative” have “no place” in New York state, a comment has office has sought to clarify by saying he was talking about candidates and not residents.

Nonetheless, the comments reminded Beck of Wallace, who told Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to leave Alabama during the Civil Rights Movement. “We can’t have a free exchange of ideas because you don’t believe we belong here?” Beck asked.

“That may be the most foolish, ridiculous, disgraceful — no wonder the son-of-a-bitch is off of the TV,” Beckel exclaimed on The Five Wednesday afternoon. Because he equates Andrew Cuomo with one of the most racist governors, who allowed black people to be lynched in his state.”

“It’s ridiculous,” Beckel concluded, before directing Cuomo’s original sentiment directly at Beck. “He ought to leave the state!”
