Rep. Steny Hoyer: Bernie Sanders ‘Is a Mainstream Candidate’

SCARBOROUGH: "The real different now, Jeb Bush or is in reality Donald Trump and Bernie and had if 20 is 16, you know, this the thing we’ve seen in 2016 is and you’ve seen it on the front lines, people are angry. They want the Sanders, they want the trumps, they want the people that shake things up."
HOYER: "Yeah. I think that’s accurate. Add again, Bernie Sanders is certainly not different in the same way that trump, Cruz and Carson are different than —"
SCARBOROUGH: "Ted Cruz couldn’t even get a second person in the Senate to support him on getting a vote."
HOYER: "Cruz is somebody who is had way out of the mainstream, very, very ideological and very unwilling to compromise at all within a democracy. If you work in a legislative body, you have to work with the people. It’s not just you. It’s not a dictatorship. Ted Cruz has not heard that drum. Bernie is a mainstream candidate in that he talks about the issues I think people are concerned about, Hillary is talking about the same issues. They’re don’t have a slug fest. The other side is having a slug fest to two did very, very different sides of politics. Jeb Bush wants to talk about issues and trump wants to talk about being tough."
