Chuck Todd Defends Clinton: What Petraeus ‘Did Was Worse’

SCARBOROUGH: “I don’t know if that be in the clinker. Let’s bringing right now NBC News political director Chuck Todd, moderator of ‘Meet the Press’ and host of ‘MTP Daily’. I don’t know anything about being in the clinker, but they would — I was going to say they would be hiring the same lawyer that Petraeus did, but Hillary’s already done that. They would be focusing a lot more on a possible civil or criminal case from justice than one from the president of the United States.” [crosstalk]
TODD: “Well Petraeus — Petraeus did it — Petraeus — tons of documents. Shared it with— knowingly shared, classified. I mean, actually, the two aren’t comparable.”
SCARBOROUGH: “There’s no comparison”
TODD: “What Genaral Petraeus did was worse. We don’t know the full extent of what Hillary Clinton did yet. OK?”
SCARBOROUGH: “Well if you don’t know full extent you can’t say what Genaral Petraeus did was worse.”
TODD: “No, but what we think we know, we — Genaral Petraeus, he knowingly shared it. Never mind with who he shared it with. Let’s not get into salacious part of it. But he knowingly shared it  with somebody that didn’t have clearance to do that.” [crosstalk]
