Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) who represents the city of San Francisco, was asked about the upcoming NFC championship game between the 49ers and Seahawks.

Rep. Pelosi responded to the question by saying, “So I’ll just put my bracelet right out there. (Laughter.) Joe Montana’s jersey, number 14 — well, anyway. (Laughs.)”

Hall of Famer Joe Montana played 14 seasons for the 49ers winning four Super Bowls, wearing the number 16 jersey the whole time. It would seem that Rep. Pelosi staff didn’t have time to brief her on that.
