Scarborough’s Obsession with Rubio’s ‘Go-Go Boots’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT: 
SCARBOROUGH: "Let’s talk about Marco Rubio’s heel height. Would you let your husband wear that? I’m just asking: would you allow your husband to wear those go-go boots?"
WALLACE: "No, no, no. I like them sweaty. I’ve got a few issues. Men in heels is like. He’s not short is he?" 
SCARBOROUGH: "He’s kind of short. I think he’s about 5’6, 5’7; I’m not sure. He’s a little guy." 
WALLACE: "He’s 5’6”?"
GEIST: "No! He’s like 5’10”."
WALLACE: "Someone Google it."
BRZEZINSKI: "I don’t like you all today."
SCARBOROUGH: "Look at those go-go boots, right. They’re elevator boots.”
WALLACE: They’re high heeled cowboy boots. 
SCARBOROUGH: "Noooo! They’re go-go. They’re straight out of the swingin’ ‘60s. Willie’s like 6’3,” 6’4”. He’s a big guy. He doesn’t need go-go boots.”

BRZEZINSKI: "The New York Times, Jeremy Peters on what he’s calling Marco Rubio’s striking shift from optimism to doom . . . 
SCARBOROUGH: "What? What’s wrong? Did he break a heel? “
BRZEZINSKI: "No. You are being so bad.”
SCARBOROUGH: "Is that what you call elevator boots? Are those heels? What are those?”
WALLACE: I think the term is a stacked heel. 
SCARBOROUGH: "A stacked heel. So maybe one of his stacked heels broke.”
BARNICLE: He needs a lift. 
SCARBOROUGH: "We all need a lift.”

GEIST: And Jeremy, the go-go boots notwithstanding, he’s doing very well in New Hampshire.

SCARBOROUGH: "Do you not like the go-go boots?”
GEIST: I wouldn’t choose them. But I respect his choice.
SCARBOROUGH: "I’m sure a lot of people that file into factories —“ 
WALLACE: And he’s 5’10,” he is not —
SCARBOROUGH: "I’m sure a lot of people that file into work at Dunkin Donuts or in factories all in New Hampshire probably go in in those Harry Styles elevated go-go boots. So I don’t know why you are you are even making, why are you even talking about his go-go boots?”
GEIST: We’re going to put those aside for a minute—
SCARBOROUGH: "Do we have a picture of the go-go boots?”
