Rand Slams Christie: ‘We Had Saner People’ During the Cold War than Chris Christie

MCCALLUM: “So you heard Chris Christie. He thinks you're in the last legs of your campaign. What do you say?”

PAUL: “You know, I think it's funny, because i thought we had a really substantive debate and i am very alarmed at someone like Christie who seems to be eager to have a war with Russia. He was very bellicose in the debate. i put forward a no-fly zone was a bad idea because it might lead to confrontation with Russia. And he said not only did he want a no-fly zone, but he was eager to tell Russia they'll shut him down. We went through seven years of a cold war, and fortunately, we had saner people than that who weren't eager for war. So it's a clear distinction with someone like Chris Christie who lacks the temperament to be president.”
