Brzezinski to Santorum: What About ‘White Men Wreaking Havoc with Guns?’

SCARBOROUGH: “Most Muslims are not confronting the cancer?”
SANTORUM: “No. They’re not out there trying to —“
SCARBOROUGH: “In America?”
SANTORUM: “No, I — in the world and I would say even here in America. No, most are not. Most are not. I mean Kerry (ph) is a good example of that. They are not.” [crosstalk]
BRZEZINSKI: “Why aren’t you working on white men with guns? I mean come on Rick Santorum. You know better. You’re a smart guy.”
SANTORUM: “Thank you for that.”
BRZEZINSKI: “You’re telling Muslim Americans they all need to come out and talk about the tiny percentage of their community that has kind of quiet frankly wreaked havoc. But yet, you look at the data of white men with guns wreaking havoc on this country. Why — white men all coming forward. Why don’t you call on them to do that? I mean, come on!”
SANTORUM: “I actually — I’m doing a lot of things. I’m doing a lot of thinks about trying to solve gun violence and that primarily focus isn’t on the family.”
