Corn on Trump: GOP Voters Want an ‘Angry White Guy’ Who Will Call Hillary a Criminal

CORN: "Well, listen, from the beginning, I thought that he'd be very competitive in the Republican nomination fight, and every time people called him out because he said this or that about McCain, I believed he wouldn't be out because there is a chunk of Republican voters, it's the, you know, a big part of the base, who want an angry white guy who will call Hillary Clinton a criminal and call Obama a dumb loser again and again. They don't care what else he says they would support him. But if you do the numbers, let's say he's at a third of the Republicans, he's 32 percent. Republicans make up about a third of the country. So, he has about the support of 10 percent now. His negatives in the general electorate, beyond Republicans, are well over 50 percent. A majority of Americans do not support his outrageous ban on Muslims coming into this country. So, I do think at some point, even for a huge billionaire like that, there is a ceiling and there are only so many Americans that are willing to accept, absorb his nonsense."
