MSNBC’s Geist: ‘Remarkable’ to See Koch Brothers Be Afraid of Going After Trump

‘It’s pretty remarkable to hear about the Koch Brothers .... saying ‘I don’t want any part of this fight’

GEIST: "And I'll tell you, reading this Jonathan Martin piece in the 'New York Times' about all these establishments, Republicans, and third party groups being afraid to go after him. It's pretty remarkable to hear (Laughter) about the Koch brothers, who I'm not sure I've ever hear that anyone in their lives saying 'I don't want any part of this fight.' (Laughter) I don't want to be in the press every day and attacked by Donald Trump." [crosstalk]

BRZEZINSKI: "What does Harry Reid think of that, right?"

GEIST: "Right."

SCARBOROUGH: "And there in Mika lies, the genius of Donald Trump as a tactician. He makes attacking him. So -- so -- such a negative experience that now you have people on the sidelines that will not go after him."

BRZEZINSKI: "I think he's a genius. I think he's just taking the broad appeal and thinning it out a little bit."
