N.H. Voter Calls Hillary Clinton’s Comments About Republicans ‘Disheartening’

‘I’m not asking you to retract it’

CLINTON: "Let's -- OK. You stood up and then I want to get to some of the other parts of the room too. Yes."
UNKNOWN FEMALE: "Thank you."
CLINTON: "Uh-huh."
UNKNOWN FEMALE: "This is more home grown here. I just want you to know a couple of statements. First off, I've been with you since the cookie incident."
CLINTON: "(Laughs)"
UNKNOWN FEMALE: "I campaigned for you and then it was a bitter pill and I went with Obama after you didn't get it. As a student of history I feel right now this country is divided as since the Civil War. My question to you is, for the first time in all of the times I've listened to you, when you said Republicans are your enemy, it was disheartening. I’m not asking you to retract it, what I’m asking you: When you’re our president, will you please extend the olive branch because we’re all Americans."
CLINTON: "Yeah, I agree with that."
