Mizzou Hunger Striker on Wolfe’s Resignation: ‘Disgusting and Vile’ We Had to Protest

“In terms of answering the question about the community, I definitely want to make sure everything is centralized about the message on why we got here. Please stop focusing on the fact of the Mizzou hunger strike itself. Look at why we did  have to get here in the first place and why to struggle and why we had to fight the way that  we did. (Applause) At the end of all this, after all the letters we have sent, all the in person interactions, after all of the forums we have attended, all the tweets, and all [indecipherable] that we have sent to administration on our opinion, it should not have taken this long and it is disgusting and vile that we find ourselves in the place that we do."
