‘The View’ to Fiorina: ‘You Are Clearly Trying To Make Lemonade out of Lemons, Aren’t You?’

FARIS: "I just wanted to say Carly, I know you used the unfortunate situation with Donald Trump to your benefit. You know, you are making lemonade out of lemons, and you are using the feud with 'The View' as well as part of your fundraising campaign -- there's a video that's going out. But you are clearly trying to make lemonade out of lemons, aren't you?"

FIORINA: "Oh, so you are telling me that you guys are lemons?"

FARIS: "No, I am just saying that --"

FIORINA: "I thought you said I should not be offended."

FARIS: "No, that is funny actually. Very good. Very good. (Applause) [crosstalk] --  turn it into something beneficial and that's what's you do in life. You take a situation and you use it to your advantage."

FIORINA: "Look, here is the reality and I think if all of you are honest, you will admit that this is the reality. Conservative women are held to a different standard than liberal women."

Why?

FIORINA: "That's just true."

UKNOWN PERSON: “By whom?”

FIORINA: "All of you -- by the liberal media."

GOLDBERG: “You know what, Carly Fiorina? You are a very wonderful woman and we are so glad that you came back."

FIORINA: "So are you Whoopi. And so are you."

GOLDBERG: “We are --"
FIORINA: "I am a big fan of your movies as I told you last time I was on this show."
GOLDBERG: “And I'm a big fan of my movies as well." (Laughter)

FIORINA: "Then we can agree."

GOLDBERG: “Thank you for being here. [crosstalk] We want to have you. When you are able to come back, come back in studio, come hang with us and we will talk some more. How's that?"

FIORINA: "I'd be happy to."

GOLDBERG: “All right. Thank you again, Carly Fiorina." [crosstalk]

FARIS: "And next time, we will make some lemonade for you."
