McCaskill: ‘I’m One of the Most Conservative Democrats’ in the Senate

MCCASKILL: “It feels personal to us who have had these, these millions and millions of dollars. I am one of the most conservative fiscal, the conservative Democrat in the Senate. I mean, I campaigned again earmarks, helped get rid of earmarks. So this notion that I am automatically a bad guy by these big donors when in interview -- I agree with you that there are many things that they said that made them not demon like. On the other hand, what they have done is pretty extraordinary in American democracy and that's the point I'm trying to make."
