Noah: Iowa Has a Bloated Role in the United States Election

‘Just ask the last two winners, ‘Not President’ Mike Huckabee and ‘Even Less President’ Rick Santorum

NOAH : "See, our problem isn't with Iowa as a state, it's with the bloated role in the American elections. I don't understand, especially because Iowa's Republican caucus stopped mattering years ago. It in no way determines the party nominee, let alone the general election winners. And if you don't believe me, just ask the last two winners. 'Not President' Mike Huckabee and 'Even Less President' Rick Santorum. All this makes it crazier when presidential candidates show up to your growth and parties and state fairs, scrambling over each other to kiss your ass and blow your food. I don't understand it. So you and me Iowa, we're cool but Republican chair Jeff Kaufman, you George Costanza-Newman hybrid! This isn't over. We can't come to your stupid party, fine! We'll have our own party. And you're not invited! Oh, man... You should see our bails of hay! They are huge! This could be us but you're playing."
