Paul Ryan: ‘We Have To Wipe the Slate Clean and Start Over’

RYAN: “I think it was a joint effort. I think we have to wipe the slate clean, start over, and have more of a bottom up approach. There are basically a number of things I think we need to do to get the House working again like the founders intended it to work - to make it a more open and participatory process. And that’s why I said to my colleagues if you want me to do a good job, I have to do it differently than the way it’s been done.”
