Rep. Jordan Slams Budget Deal: Paul Ryan Was Right, This Process Certainly Stinks

“— very much, very much so, Joe, and you’re exactly right. Time and time again here before — before the new leadership comes in, they’re doing it again. We get this deal in less than 48 hours before we suppose to vote on it. It increases the borrowing authority, a trillion and a half dollars, doesn’t really cut any spending in fact, increases spending. So, it’s more of the same. And this is — frankly, this is what’s got to change and this is why the American people elected us to change things like this. It’s why I’ll be voting against it. It’s why I think it was right for the speaker or the new speaker Paul Ryan to say this process stinks, which it certainly does.”
