Trump: ‘People of Kentucky Not Being Treated Fairly’ by Rand Running for Both Senate and President

‘I think he has to go back to the people of Kentucky’

[RUSH TRANSCRIPT]
HALPERIN: “Mr. Trump, [indecipherable] you expected one of the current Republican presidential candidates to get out of the race and, if so, who?”
TRUMP: “I would rather not say. But, I’m hearing one is going to be getting out very soon.”
HALPERIN: “Give us a hint.”
TRUMP: “And obviously you look at the field when you — when you’re at zero. I mean, we have a number of them at zero. A number of them at one. It’s hard — it must be awfully hard to go on like that. So, one I hear is getting out soon. And — and I’m sure —“ [crosstalk]
HALPERIN: “Give us — give us a hint about the identity of the person.”
TRAMP: “I think — I think — you’re going to end up with four or five in the end. And that’s fine with me.”
HALPERIN: “Do you think Rand Paul is going to get out of the race soon?”
TRUMP: “I do. I think he has to go back to the people of Kentucky. I think the people of Kentucky are not being treated fairly, by him. And I think he’s going to have to either do one thing or the other. I don’t think it’s fair to the people of Kentucky. A great state and great people. And I don’t think it’s fair to them.”
