HERBST: “Well, it’s certainly true. Ukraine is in a military sense fighting this alone. There is significant support from the United States but it’s also not sufficient. Biden yesterday should have also put sanctions on the Russian Central Bank, and taking Russia out of the SWIFT system. He was — he should have insisted that our policy not be driven by our weakest-willed European allies. And so the Ukrainians were deeply disappointed in his performance. Also, we saw other signs of insufficient resolve on the part of the administration.”
