MSNBC’s Dilanian: ‘Obviously Most Americans’ Support the TSA’s Mask Mandate

‘This is a mask mandate that most Americans have willingly complied with through much of the pandemic’

EXCERPT:

DILANIAN: “Here we have the state of Texas suing the federal government, the CDC and others, alleging that this order, which went into effect on January 21 to mandate masks on airplanes and other forms of public transportation, Amtrak,  subways, that there was no justification for it. Essentially, they found that there was no findings that show that masks have limited the interstate spread of Covid-19. Of course, public health authorities would challenge that. Essentially, they filed this lawsuit in federal district court in northern Texas. The Attorney General Ken Paxton has said in a statement Biden’s repeated disregard of the individual liberties of Texans is not only disrespectful to the U.S. Constitution, it is also troublesome that any president thinks that they can act above the law while hardworking Americans stand by. Obviously, this is a mask mandate that most Americans have willingly complied with through much of the pandemic. It's been controversial in some quarters, there's been some people who have protested it, there's been individual lawsuits. Now you have the state of Texas challenging it. We have yet to see a comment from the federal government on this one, Hallie."
