WaPo’s Rucker: Dems ‘Nervous’ About How Hillary’s Handling Her Private E-mail Server

‘A lot of Democratic leaders privately were expressing a lot of concern and frustration, feeling like Clinton herself has not put this issue behind her’

RIVERA: “What could be the most damning is that the State Department didn't know and the frustration that the aides showed dealing with that private server here. I also want to ask, it’s not going to end, so far about 13,000 pages of e-mails from Clinton’s private server has been released with another 17,000 pages to come until then.”

RUCKER: “Yeah, this is going to go on for many months. You know, the Republicans certainly are going to want to keep this in the news. I would expect sometime next year there will even be TV attack ads about the e-mail controversy. This will go on for some time and Democrats are very nervous about the way she and her campaign have been handling it. I was out at the DNC meeting last week, and a lot of Democratic leaders privately were expressing a lot of concern and frustration, feeling like Clinton herself has not put this issue behind her.”
