FLEISCHER: "As for Chris Cuomo, I think the issue here for CNN that made them cross this line was it was journalistic malfeasance. It was terrible behavior for a journalist who' supposed to be, purportedly, even at CNN, to be a fair-minded reporter who doesn’t get involved. And he crossed that line. But the thing is, he obviously crossed the line. He did it months ago. And when CNN in their statement today said there was more to the story that they learned today from the AG's emails, I think it’s pretty clear CNN didn’t go looking for the full story when this originally broke. Because the information about just how active Chris Cuomo was on behalf of his brother has been there for all to see for several, several months. It’s a slap in the face today and they had no choice."
