Bo Snerdley: First Thing that Rush Limbaugh Said When He Revealed His Illness Was He Apologized to Us

‘Because good things need to happen to good people once in a while’

EXCERPT:

CARLSON: "You made reference to the meeting he called, I guess to tell the staff that he was battling illness."
SNERDLEY: "Yeah. Yeah, that's the day I’ll never forget, the day none of us will ever forget. I got the call on my way to work and he was there. He told us what — the first thing he did was apologize to us."
CARLSON: "Why?"
SNERDLEY: "He said, 'I feel like I’m letting you down.' It still breaks my heart. That’s who he was, though. He cared about his staff. He cared about all of us.”
