Joy Behar: ‘Ironic’ that Trump Started Operation Warp Speed When ‘His Side Is Telling People It Doesn’t Work’

HOSTIN: "I called — I was lucky to have doctors in our family, and I called those doctors and asked the questions. The science behind this vaccine has been around for over 20 years, over 20 years, people. So, it felt like — and 'Warp Speed' was a very bad name for it, because I was, like, I don’t want a vaccine that was developed in warp speed, right? But my husband was like, no, it’s been around for 20 years, the science. And I think that’s why the messaging was bad on this to begin with."

BEHAR: "It's ironic in a way, because Trump started the Warp Speed."

HOSTIN: "That was very dumb."

BEHAR: "And yet, he says that it's not — it doesn’t work, his side is telling people it doesn't work. He's the one who started it in the first place."
