But unfortunately, those voices didn’t carry the day in the end. But I also want to say this. The Biden administration had an opportunity to withdraw from the agreement. They could have re-evaluated it, renegotiated it, taken a different path on Afghanistan. But the Biden administration chose to stick with it.”
