Dem Rep. Barbara Lee: Domestic Terrorism Is ‘the Greatest Threat to Our National Security’

‘We have many, many national security issues that we have to deal with now’

EXCERPT:

LEE: "And I think we need, as members of Congress, to understand now when, in fact, we are going to authorize the use of force. And so, having said that, we have many, many national security issues that we have to deal with now. We have domestic terrorism, right? The greatest threat to our national security. But we have to look back and just see and understand what took place as a result of 9/11 and the President has been very emphatic about having counter-terrorism operations in place and, in fact, we need to look at how we re-balance our approach in the world as it relates to global peace and security."
