The NASCAR Sprint Cup Awards Banquet was held in Las Vegas last night, and Jay Mohr served as emcee. Things got a little awkward when the comedian started hazing Danica Patrick — "I know you're not used to being this close to the front" — and Patrick was visibly dismayed.

Mohr offered a bit of an apology towards the end of the clip, clarifying what everyone but Patrick knew from the outset: the jokes were all in good fun.
