Fiorina: Explanations We’re Getting from Planned Parenthood Are ‘Totally Insulting’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

BARNICLE: "Miss Fiorina, there's a lot going on, as you know, out there dealing with it every day during your campaign. Would you -- two questions -- would you vote against funding? You would vote to defund planned Parenthood? And would you vote for a five or six cents increase in the gasoline tax?"

FIORINA:  "Yes, I would vote to defund Planned Parenthood. These videotapes are an abomination and the explanations we're getting out of planned Parenthood are insulting. Totally insulting. No, I would not vote to increase the gas tax. Isn't it interesting that federal government always needs more money to do anything important? Roads and bridges are one of the most important responsibilities of federal government and yet somehow despite the fact that they spend more and more and more money every year, they don't have enough money to do anything important. This is what's wrong with Washington. It's why we have to go to zero base budgeting so we actually know how our money is being spent and we can prioritize spending on money. If every time the government has something important to do they get to ask for more money from the taxpayers, we're not changing anything."
