Eugene Robinson: Vaccines Work So Well, We Need To Move Forward

‘It’s going to be a while before New York gets back to being full New York’

EXCERPT:

ROBINSON: "Look, it is understandable that it is going to take people a bit of time to get back to feeling like normal. But I do think that particularly in the Tri-State area where, as you said, people have gotten vaccinated, there's a healthy vaccination rate, you know, I think they've been pretty conservative about opening up and letting people gather, given the fact that the vaccines work so well and we know they work so well. So once understands the caution and the CDC and the FDA, and everybody wants us to be — they don’t want us to go back to where we were last year this time, but we do need to move forward. We need to keep moving forward.”
