Stewart Mocks ‘Leaflet Airdrop’ on ISIS Territory: Nobody Reads Them

‘That is our newest communication weapon in the greatest war of the 21st century, dropped leaflets, floating paper’

STEWART: "So what are we doing to fight back against I.S.I.L's technical supremacy? Perhaps a virus, wipe out their computers, hijack their social media accounts, some kind of targeted electromagnet pulsing?"
CNN [video]: "These leaflets air dropped in [indecipherable] by the U.S. , the message, freedom will rise, a not so subtle warning to I.S.I.S., watch out."
STEWART: "Are you (bleep) kidding me? Leaflets? Leaflets? That is our newest communication weapon in the greatest war of the 21st century, dropped leaflets, floating paper. Really I.S.I.S., you're dominating social media, well, let's just see if cranking up the old mimeograph can take care of that! Every turn of the handle is -- oh, I'm sorry. We're out of ink and I'm tired and, turns out, nobody reads leaflets. Well, I guess you're not my parents' al Qaeda. So America, armed with ditto machines is up against a group that is disrupting the whole concept of disruption!"
