Schumer: We Are at a Fulcrum Moment for Climate Change and Need To Take Big, Bold Action

‘Everyone is worried about the climate change!’

EXCERPT:

SCHUMER: "Yeah, this is a fulcrum moment."
BUTTIGIEG: "Exactly."
SCHUMER: "We are not -- it's not too late, but if we wait another 5 or 10 years it will be. So we have to act now. There's an imperative to acting but I think it's a popular imperative. Most Americans know we have to deal with the specter of climate change. Most Americans want to create new and good jobs and be part of the future and not just cling to the older jobs which have become more difficult and less frequent in the past. And most Americans would love to try a new driving experience that might actually be better than the one they have."
