Alberta, Canada Premier on Keystone XL Pipeline: Biden ‘Didn’t Give Enough Respect to America’s Closest Friend and Ally to at Least Sit Down with Us’

‘I wasn’t shocked’

EXCERPT:

KENNEY: "I wasn’t shocked because his campaign did say that they would veto the presidential permit. Having said that, I was really disappointed that the new President didn’t give enough respect to America’s closest friend and ally to at least sit down with us and hear our case about how we reduce carbon emissions from Canada’s oil sands, about how this pipeline would operate on a net zero carbon emitting basis, about First Nations, American native communities that are taking an ownership stake in this, about the huge support of unions, the economic benefits. We have a strong case to make and we just wish the U.S. administration would let us make that case."
