Juan Williams: It Just Makes You Want To Cry Seeing the National Guard at Capitol Hill Protecting It from Trump Loyalists
EXCERPT:
WILLIAMS: “We have 15,000 U.S. troops at the U.S. Capitol today, right now. I think we have a picture of some of them last night sleeping on the floor of the U.S. Capitol. I mean, it’s enough to make you want to cry, Jesse. It’s unbelievable. And that's three times the number of troops that the United States right now has stationed in Afghanistan and Iraq. Combined. If you have to wonder about where the domestic terror threat is for the United States right now, the major terror threat, I think you can see it’s right here at home and it’s a function of domestic terrorism. That’s a reality. That’s a fact, as confirmed by that awful sight of our young men and women having to defend our own Congress against domestic actions by people who are loyal to President Trump."
